Hunt Story
I was hunting a food plot that was close to our hunting camp when a doe and two yearlings came in. I noticed some movement in the edge of the woods, what appeared to be a buck, but the doe began to catch my scent and move back into the woods along with the yearlings. I waited about 20 minutes, thinking that there were no more deer, and then a spike came across the bottom of the food plot and into the woods on the other side. Then I began to hear a deer walking in the leaves coming in, so I got my rifle in position, and out he stepped at 30 or so yards. One shot and he dropped.
