Hunt Story
I watched the deer develop over the summer through trail camera photos. I let the deer go last year (one side of him was damaged in velvet). After velvet came off this year, I had only night time photos of him. Never in daytime. I only hunted the area when the wind was right. I hunt bow only. I went in Sunday (10/27) morning before church and by surprise he walked up on me and was about 9 yards from the base of my tree. I let him get out to draw back and make a 27-yard shot.
