Hunter: James Snyder
Points: 8 (4L, 4R)
My son James and I were planning to hunt for does with hopes for him to bag his first deer. My friend whose land were hunting on suggested we hunt property near his home for a chance at a buck. I thought that would be great! After spending approximately 20 minutes in a box stand, a nice eight made his way on the far end of the food plot we were hunting. I pointed the deer out to James telling him we would give the deer a chance to come a little closer. After a few minutes of a slow stroll parallel with us, I told James to get ready. The buck was remaining broad side, so it was a good angle for an accurate shot. James put the cross hairs on him and dropped him from about 70 yards. It was James first shot from a stand. I was proud, and he couldn’t stop smiling!
