Hunt Story
I was hunting my first day of the Flint River WMA quota hunt. I was hunting in the same area where I shot the second largest buck to come off that WMA, a 140 5/8 10-pointer, in 2013. This buck came in chasing a doe 20 minutes after legal shooting light. After the shot from my .243 Browning X-Bolt, he ran about 200 yards. Fifteen minutes later I shot a doe as well. My total time in the stand was 2 hours.
