Hunt Story
We first saw “wide 8,” the 341-lb. bruiser, making a scrape on the edge of the food plot but could not get a shot before he ran across the food plot into the planted pines. We recognized him immediately as we had him on camera and passed on him last year. About 1 hour and 15 minutes later, a doe came into the far end of the plot at about 250 yards followed by wide 8. He chased her to 179 yards, presented broadside and James made the shot.
