Hunt Story
After killing his biggest buck to date on 12/6/2023, James got in the stand looking to fill his second buck tag for the year. He got in the stand at approximately 5:00 pm and at about 5:40 pm, two does came running into the food plot so he knew there was likely a buck chasing them. About 30 seconds later, a small 4-point came running in, which was a letdown. Within the next minute, this deer came trotting in, and James took the shot when he stopped at about 75 yards. The deer was successfully recovered about 30 minutes later approximately 20 yards from where he was shot. Two great bucks within a week made for a great season for this young hunter.
