Hunt Story
It started off a slow morning. I didn't see the first deer until around 9 a.m. I noticed a spike and a 5-point. They fed on through, then came a young 8-point that fed around me for 45 minutes as I was watching two does behind me. I turned back around to watch the young 8-point again and noticed he was walking away. Then I saw movement coming to me. It was this bigger 8-point. As he walked out into a clearing, I reconized the deer and made a 60-yard shot. He dropped in his tracks.
