Hunt Story
This is the third year that I have been hunting this deer. I have had a single chance at this deer both years prior and wasn’t able to get it done, but I’m glad I didn’t, seeing the deer he turned into. I shot another buck opening morning, and with only one buck tag left this was the only buck I was willing to spend it on. I first saw him around 7:20 feeding down the trail on saplings and other browse. He finally made it to 20 yards after watching him for 15 minutes. I tried my best to calm my nerves and took the shot. My biggest deer to date.
