Hunt Story

For Jackson’s birthday he wanted to go hunting. Our neighbor and good friend, Ben, said he would take him. They were hunting out of a ground blind overlooking a holler. There were does and small bucks running around at daylight. This buck came in and chased off the younger bucks. Once the buck stopped Jackson was able to take his shot. The deer ran maybe 40 yards over a hill and crashed. They waited for the deer to expire and went to track it. Ben found him and Jackson was excited to put his hands on the deer’s antlers. This was Jackson's first deer he as ever harvested. Jackson admits to being nervous, but took a deep breath and pulled the trigger to make a clean shot on the deer. He thanks the Lord for the opportunity and the overwhelming support he has received.
