Hunt Story
I was hunting on opening afternoon in the spot where we had been getting pictures of this deer almost every day before dark. My dad was supposed to be hunting in his stand but he had to go to a wedding, so I told him I was going to go kill the big deer. So I was sitting there watching 7 different bucks and they all ran off suddenly, so I was hoping that the big one was heading my way. I started seeing the 8-pointer that this big deer was walking with every day before this. So I got ready. It took about 15 minutes for the two bucks to get within range of my stand. When the big one gave me a good shot, I took it. The deer only ran 100 yards from where I shot him. This is my personal best buck so far.
