Hunt Story
Me and my dad were sitting in our new stand we had put up this year. We had seen a small 7-pointer right after daylight. Then about 8 o’clock I saw a big doe step out in the food plot. She was acting nervous and looking around and behind her. I thought there might be a buck following her. I kept watching that spot and about 10 minutes later a 6-pointer came running out and trotted across and into the same spot she left the plot. Then about 5 minutes later I saw the big buck come running out. My dad started making that noise you make when you are trying to get a buck to stop. It took three times of him yelling at it for the buck to finally stop and give me the shot. When I pulled the trigger he jumped and kicked his back legs out. I knew when I saw that I had probably killed him.
