Hunt Story
Between football and other commitments, Jack’s Saturday mornings have been booked up for most of the season. Although he has hunted several times in the afternoon and passed many small bucks, the bigger bucks seemed to be showing up on camera in the mornings. With football finally over and some colder weather on the way, we knew that Saturday November 11 could be the day. Thanks to some inside information from his grandfather, Pop, we knew exactly what tree to be in. Jack was in his climber in that exact tree before daylight that morning, with his dad 100 yards down wind. Jack passed up two spikes early that morning. About 9:35 this nice 10-pointt showed up and Jack dropped him in his tracks at 15 yards.
