Hunt Story

Saturday evening was a beautiful fall day. Started off with temps in the upper 40s, rose into the mid 80s, then cooled again at or around time to hit the blind for an evening hunt. All was perfect, just finished watching Tenn Vols throw a hail mary pass into the end zone for a win a the last second over The Georgia bulldogs. #GOVOLS. Got in the blind behind my house, overlooking a sugarlicious green plot from Patricks Feed & Seed in Covington. Wasn't setting 10 minutes when across the plot came “Flying 9,” the name I had given this particular buck. The rest just fell into place. My PSE With Swacker broadheads is a dangerous combination. Deer ran about 40 yards then dropped on the treeline, barley getting out of the plot.
