Hunt Story
Hunting out of a box stand with my 9-year-old Hunter, mid 80s and hot, had 12 does in the field. Three bucks came out and we watched them for 30 minutes. There were does right under the stand, finally they all looked the opposite direction and Hunter was able to make a 75-yard shot on a beautiful 8-point. He dropped the buck with the shot, after a minute the buck got up and staggered off behind some trees. We waited 30 minutes and began to look before we lost daylight. We found the buck 50 yards away from the original shot on a field road.
