Hunt Story
I passed this buck last season while hunting a different buck. My number 1 shooter this year was harvested by one of my buddies earlier in the week, so I had to go after another one. I got into the stand around 6:00 and had a few deer trickle in throughout the afternoon. At around 7:45 I had three mature bucks come in, after a few minutes the 10 finally turned broadside. I couldn’t see my arrow hit but I felt like it was a good shot. I couldn’t find my arrow or any blood, so I called my dad to bring in his dog, Leroy, to try and find him. After a short tracking job, I got to lay my hands on him.
