Hunt Story
After having a close encounter with this deer in bow season, Grandad was seeking redemption. With being 89 years old and limited with his eyesight, it made it a challenge. We as a family rallied around him, checking cameras and filling feeders to give him the best possible chance. It all came together on Oct 27th. My brother went with Grandad to make sure he shot the right buck. With 20 minutes of legal shooting light my brother saw the buck coming and got Grandad into position. The buck stood head on. My brother told him to wait till he turns broadside. BAM he shoots him head on. Drops him in his tracks. It was a joyous time with the whole family to come out and celebrate such a magnificent animal. Memories I will cherish forever. Written by a Grandson
