Hunting over a 150-yard open field, buck crossed from right woodline toward left wood line, about 65 yards distance, heading toward the direction of a small scrape. Shot buck at 7:58 am, just after first light, with a Browning X-Bolt 30-06. This was my first buck ever. He had 10-points with wet tarsals, about 175 pounds.
