Hunt Story
I went to an area that I knew the deer usually eat the white oak acorns. I had not hunted this area this year at all. I carried my old reliable Tomcat 2 climber and found a tree to climb where I could see the white oak bottom. I had just started to make my climb when a doe came out eating. I was watching her when all of a sudden she went into a run and out came the 8-point buck chasing. I could not get a shot and they took off. I sat there maybe 20 minutes and low and behold out came the same doe except out of the thicket in the bottom and guess what was behind her- that same 8-point walking. Dirt nap came shortly after.
