Hunt Story
I got home at 4:00 pm and was ready to get in the stand. We had seen this deer in the stand that I planned to sit at before but didn't get a shot. I got halfway up my stand and noticed him on the food plot, but my gun wasn't loaded and I wasn't ready at all. He walked to a trail out of sight and vanished. I was very frustrated because I had my chance and couldn't do anything. I got up in the stand, loaded my gun, and said a prayer. He walked out five minutes later and I was ready this time. He was walking across the food plot and wouldn't stop. I grunted with my mouth and he stopped and looked right at me. I shot between some trees and made a perfect heart shot.
