Hunt Story
I had observed several rubs and scrapes in the area and had seen a mature buck chasing does a week earlier, but he was moving too fast to get a good look or a shot. A mature buck and mature buck signs had been seen in this area in previous years but a shot was never possible. This buck was estimated to weigh 220-240 pounds (no scale available). Luckily, I was hunting with two grown great nephews who helped get him loaded. His body was the biggest I have harvested in 50 years of hunting!
