Hunt Story
The afternoon was calm and clear, perfect for a hunt. I had seen the buck on trail cameras a few days earlier but hadn’t been able to take the shot. With bucks chasing does, I felt sure something would come out today. Sure enough, the buck came into the field, following a group of does. I steadied my aim, took the shot, and watched as the buck stumbled and ran. We found him 60 yards away. It was a great hunt and a rewarding end to days of patience and preparation—a memory I’ll cherish.
