Hunt Story
Shot buck from ground on way to stand. Spotted him a good ways off through a small gap and snuck up a little closer in hopes to get a better shot. He walked through a lane broadside but wouldn’t stop and went into woods. We were leaning on a pine tree disappointed at the missed opportunity but also hopeful and anxious that he may come back. He reappeared several minutes later only about 60 yards away staring right at us. He paused long enough to get a shot off. He dropped right there.
