Hunt Story
I was headed to the woods Saturday afternoon after watching some of the GA/SC game. I was in the stand around 5:45. The heat and the bugs were both doing their best to make my sit as uncomfortable as possible. Around 6:30 I saw the first deer, a doe with a fawn, followed shortly by a couple of small bucks. A little after 7:00 two more bucks showed up, one of which was the 10 point velvet buck I harvested. At about 7:20 I managed to put an arrow in the buck. After a 30-minute wait and 40 minutes of tracking, I had my deer.
