This buck showed up at 11:30 this morning chasing a doe in the pasture. We decided to hunt this stand the afternoon even though the wind was in the wrong direction. At 5:30 the buck came out chasing a doe again but never stopped for a shot. About 30 minutes later he returned to the field and gave me a good shot at about 100 yards. He ran about 50 yards and dropped.
