Hunt Story
Prior to the morning of the kill, had only seen trail-cam pics of him for the last couple years and only at night. Finally, on Nov 25th, I saw him slowly coming towards me trailing a doe. Tried to stop him with a grunt as he walked through a small opening but took an extra step covering his vitals. Eventually he continued angling toward me offering a near broadside shot at 35 yards and was able to squeeze a shot off with my 300BLK. The Barnes 110gr TAC TX did its job and he ran about 40 yards before I heard him crash. Certainly feeling very thankful and blessed for the opportunity to harvest such a beautiful animal.
