Graeme and I were hunting in a new stand we built that he named Big Buck Cabin. We had two yearlings come through and hang out for a while around 5:30. They hung around until almost 6 when they ran off and Graeme spotted the buck. The wind was blowing hard and the buck was very nervous. He did not want to come out in the open. He was on the edge of the woods but in a small opening that was clear enough to take a shot. Graeme took the shot with his .243 and the buck instantly dropped. It went about 10 yards for an easy recovery and a happy boy.
