Hunt Story
Me and daddy got in the stand just before daylight. As soon as it started to get light, a doe came out acting sorta skittish. It wasn't 30 seconds when a nice 8-pointer appeared following this doe. I put my scope on him and told daddy I was gonna let him go. Daddy said ok but slowly move your gun to the right cause you gotta monster walking in to your right. I did and OMG I almost lost it! I settled in behind the front shoulder at at 100 yards and squeezed the trigger. That's when we went haywire, the buck kicked and ran 30 yards before he crashed! Me and daddy were high-fiving and saying you got em! We both were so happy we were crying. I just wanna thank God for letting me have one of his most magnificent creatures. I also wanna thank Brad Gill and 30-30 ministries for such a great experience for me and my mama and daddy !
