Hunt Story
Me and my dad decided to go out hunting on Sunday afternoon, even though it was pouring rain. I asked my Big Daddy if i could hunt the Graveyard stand, because I knew there was a big buck working a scrape line in that area. We got in the stand at about four o'clock, and I realized that I had dropped my bullets! Luckily, my dad had one in his coat pocket for me. About 5:30, I was sitting there just looking around and we spotted a big buck coming out of the woodline headed directly for a scrape on the edge of the powerline. My dad said, "Gavin - big buck!" I threw up and got him in the scope really fast, settled in on the zone, and squeezed off a round. He hit the ground in his tracks! I looked at my dad and said, "That's what I'm talking about!!!" and we high fived. My Uncle Paul pulled the deer's jaw bone and aged him at 5 1/2 years old. Thanks to my family and Whiteway Plantation!!!!!
