We hunted on Redlands for two days and on the last morning I was able to get a 70-yard shot on the buck with my T/C muzzleloader. The buck was moving through the edge of a thicket when I first saw it and within 5 minutes I watched it bed down next to a pine tree. I watched it for several more minutes and then it turned to its left while still bedded down and gave me a clear shot. I hit the buck through the lungs and the top of the heart and I never got up. I was able to recover it within 10 minutes.
