Hunter: Gary Cheely
Points: 13 (8L, 5R)
It was muggy this Sunday morning. My son and I were hunting a ground blind looking down a long lane between planted pines. The lane was planted in clover and chicory and drilled with wheat and oats. We were watching a young 10-point up close to the blind when the buck came out of the planet pines and saw the young 10-point. He cut the distance from 250 yards to about 75 yards quickly as he was apparently coming to challenge the younger buck. I stopped him with a grunt and dropped him with a neck shot at 75 yards. This is a deer we have been watching on camera for a couple of years we aged him at 5 years old.
