Hunt Story
The morning of November 7th, I was hunting a bedding area and saw a nice buck at 100 yards on a mowed shooting lane, but didn't get a shot. The evening of November 9th, I was hunting the same area, but on the south side because of wind direction. At 5:00 p.m., I saw antlers to my right. As he moved left, I saw it was the same buck as the other day. When he got to an opening, I mouth grunted to stop him and took the shot. He was 50 yards away and ran another 30 yards before crashing. I used a Marlin 336 in 35 Rem. Caliber.
