This buck came in directly downwind of me. Wind was out of North East. The minute I saw him he was headed right for me. I knew right away it was the buck we called the tall eleven. I grabbed my bow and he came within 15 yards, I watched him throw his head in the branches and make a scrape. It was not an opening there to get a shot. He turned and was coming toward my right side about 10 yards and then turned around and walked by the scrape, and I saw one opening that I might be able to stop him in. I baa at him and he wouldn't stop. Saw one more little window and baa really loud and he stopped perfect with his vitals exposed. I was in full draw and let the arrow fly. As he ran through the clearcut I saw that I hit him right behind the shoulder. He went like 60 yards and crashed.
