Hunt Story

It was a clear day right before sundown. I was sitting on the ground near a three-trunked tree, and I started to get ready to pack it up to head out. At the same time my husband, who was in another area, heard a grunting sound, so he grunted back and it ran from him and straight my way. As I looked up to see what was making loud rustling noises, I saw as it walked, and it was a blessing in disguise, my beautiful first buck strolling through as it grazed on the move. He picked his head up, took a step forward, and looked left directly at me. As our eyes made contact, he flipped and was down with my 20G right where he last stood. Thank you Lord for my blessing.
