Hunt Story
Me and my dad got into the stand 30 minutes before daylight. I was taking a nap when my dad woke me up to tell me there were 3 deer coming into the oak trees. There were 2 babies and a mama doe. I told my dad I didn’t want to shoot the big doe or her little ones cause I wanted a buck. He then said another deer was coming up the hill and to get the scope on it. He thought it was another doe, but when I put the scope on it I said it was a buck and I wanted to shoot it. After a few minutes of trying to get on him, he stopped sideways and I shot him. He went down hard and didn’t even kick. We waited a few minutes before we got down. I was so excited I could hardly stand it. This is my first deer and will never forget it.
