Hunt Story
I have a two-year history with this deer. When he showed up on camera during the 2022 season, I decided he would be #1 on my hit list. I had two encounters with him last year, and even shot him with my bow in the front shoulder which turned out to be a non-lethal hit. Because of this, we named him "Lucky". Fast forward to the 2023 season, we only had two pictures of him in the summertime until this week. Two days before Thanksgiving, he showed up at the same location I had an encounter with him the previous year. Saturday evening was my second sit for him. Lucky stepped out of the woods at 20 yards, and his luck ran out as I made a double lung shot with my bow.
