Hunt Story
Me and my mom saw this buck Saturday morning chasing a doe, but I could not get a good shot because he would not stop. I wanted to go back to the same stand Sunday morning, to see if I could get a shot at him. Me and my dad were watching smaller bucks chase does all morning, and we hoped that the big buck would come out soon. We watched a doe underneath the water oak, and she kept looking behind her as if something were there. We knew that she was looking at something that we could not see. Next thing me and my dad knew, the big buck chases her out from underneath the water oak. My dad's thermos clanked on the steel buddy stand, and the big buck stopped to look at us. I knew I didn't have much time, so I aimed behind the shoulder blade and squeezed the trigger.
