Hunt Story
I live on 19 acres on the Henry County, DeKalb County line with houses all around me. I found some large horned trees that were fresh, so I put my stand a good trail going to a bedding area, and right at daylight I saw a large body walking away from me. I hit my grunt call two times, and he turned and came my way. It was the first time I have ever heard a buck roar. He was ready to fight. He ran and stopped about 20 yards and stopped facing me. I shot him with my crossbow and dropped him in his tracks. He is my biggest buck. For the last 12 years I've killed a good buck every year.
