Hunt Story
I got in the stand around 7:20 that morning. I saw a spike come from some young planted pines into the food plot. He was rubbing on an oak tree toward the end of the food plot. He went on across, and I was ready for another deer to come out behind him. Well, about 10 minutes later, here he comes. I knew that I couldn't hesitate if one came out from the same trail because of some limbs that were in my way, so as soon as I saw him, and realized he was a shooter, I took aim and fired. He ran about 80 yards into a dry swamp bottom before crashing down.
