Hunt Story
Sitting on a power line with a 5-acre clearcut (volunteer growth 7 years old). I have a feeder in the center of it. The deer came in down a bush-hogged trail skirting the edge. I took the shot, and the deer donkey kicked and ran off, so I waited sure it was a fatal shot. However when I went to look, no blood. My wife and I looked for 45 minutes, no sight of blood. So I was frustrated and decided I would look tomorrow morning in the light (Friday). I decided to just to see if a dog tracker on the GON list would help. When I called Drew Anglin he was there in 15 minutes. His dogs tracked and found my deer within 30 minutes.
