Hunt Story
My dad dropped me off at 4:40 p.m. so I could walk to my stand. As I was walking to the stand along the cotton field, I saw movement in the brush. The buck was coming up on a corn feeder. I looked through my binoculars and decided it was a shooter. I bent down below the shrubs so he couldn’t see me. I took my gun off of my back and the buck walked into an opening. I made a grunt with my mouth to stop him. Once he stopped, I got him in my crosshairs and took the shot. After the shot he ran about 50 yards. He acted like I didn’t hit him and as I was reloading my gun, he went down. I immediately walked to him to see my kill. It was a very fast hunt. I feel very blessed!
