Hunt Story
I got in the stand about 5:30 a.m. About 7:00 a.m. I saw a doe walk out into the middle of the field. Shortly after she came to the field, a buck came out right behind her. I saw what I thought was a nice 8-point buck. The buck turned around like he was going back into the woods, so I got my gun and shot. The buck ran probably 25 yards into the woods. I got down from the stand about 30 minutes later and was able to find the buck pretty easily. I was happy about my kill, but I thought he was going to be a bigger deer than he was. The buck was actually a 7-point buck because he had a broken brow tine. I am blessed to be able to enjoy God's creations!
