Hunt Story
Hunting lock-on adjacent to pine hardwood transition on field road edge. Four does feeding nearby. Approximately 4:50 p.m. heard chasing to the south. Saw does running in thicker woods at 85 yards. Few minutes later could slightly see what thought was young buck. He moved my direction and saw the does feeding. Had clear view of him as he walked down field road to does. Drew as he passed a pine 20 feet at my 1 o'clock, and he stayed behind the tree with me a full draw a full two minutes. Slowly he cleared the obstructions and took the shot at 10 yards. Thought I heard him crash but waited 1 hour. Trailed him about 150 yards. Very pleased with this buck and thank you for the opportunity to enter.
