After getting a pic of this buck on my cell cam when I was out of town I knew when I got back home I needed to be in the stand. Me and my son had just spent the week at Piedmont national wildlife refuge with little success due to weather mostly the second I got home I had this buck on my mind. I had went to church earlier today and after I got home I grabbed my stuff and decided to go sit for a while and just see what happened... what better way to spend a Sunday evening. After being in the stand for roughly 2 hours here he came skirting up the ridge above me trying to sneak through but luckily giving me a window for a shot where I dropped him in his tracks. My son and his girlfriend came to help me retrieve the buck and get him loaded up good times with my family!
