I had pics of the buck in August and stayed out of the area until the week prior to the hunt. I placed some corn in briars on the edge of a food plot to help draw the buck into range of the stand roughly 150 yards from where he was seen on camera. The evening prior to the hunt I added some additional corn without checking any cameras in hope the buck had moved within range. The morning of the hunt I entered the stand down wind and approximately 7:15 am the buck entered the plot at about 40 yards and presented a shot at 28 yards turning broadside where I made a double lung shot. The buck traveled about 40 yards off the plot and expired.
