Hunt Story
I had hunted daylight to dark the previous three days and had seen, and passed, a number of deer. Saturday evening I had a very mature buck get within 40 yards and not offer a shot. I had all intentions of being back at daylight after that buck, but when my alarm went off I was dragging. In a hurry, I decided to sit a different piece of property that I don't really run cameras on, but knowing I should see some does and any buck would be a pure bonus. Just after shooting time I caught a deer slipping behind me about 50 yards. I gave a series of grunts on the off chance it was a buck. Within 2-3 minutes, this buck came walking in looking for a challenger. He stopped in my shooting lane at 25 yards and dropped upon the shot.
