Hunt Story
In the weeks leading up to this hunt, camera data showed that this buck had become more and more regular at this stand site in the late afternoon. On this night, the wind direction was favorable, so I slipped into the tree around 630 pm. This buck was the last to come by after a handful of does and smaller bucks. At 20 yards, when he quartered away, I stood, drew, and shot. The fixed four-blade hit it's mark, and he ran 60 yards before piling up.
