At around 9 a.m. I see a doe being chased by a buck on the opposite ridge. They pass without a clear view of the deer. After about 15 minutes I can hear deer coming back from the same direction the deer had run to. A few minutes later I see a doe cross the ditch and headed my way with the buck in tow. The buck crosses the ditch and begins to run. I stop him for a 150-yard shot. The buck takes off and runs about 100 yards and crashes.
