Hunt Story
I got on the stand at 5:45 p.m. It was cloudy. At about 7:20, the buck came in from my right side going to the feeder. The feeder was 50 yards away. The buck moved in slowly from the pines left to right. When he came to the clear opening, I took my best shot and heard the bolt hitting the deer. I waited an hour before looking for the deer. My wife and I looked for the deer together, and she found the bolt. With a happy cry of "there is blood." Then it took another 10 minutes to find the deer 50 yards away from where I shot it. This was my first crossbow deer.
