Had multiple pictures of this deer since July and knew that he was the one that I wanted to try and kill this season. Lots of velvet pics but became a traveler once in hard horn. Last pics I had was on November 10 at 5:50 pm. I knew I needed a wind from the north or NW to hunt him. On Saturday the 23rd I got that wind after the rain. Hung my Summit climber and settled in around 3:15. He was the first deer I saw at 4:10 and the 6.5 did its job.
