We've had trail cam pics of this buck for a few years now. This morning was the first time we crossed paths. Cool calm clear morning. The buck came walking down a lowland hardwood ridge next to a thick pine block around 8:30 AM. I made a clean 120-yard shot and hit him with a second shot as well. He went down within 40 of the first hit. Nice old buck! Very happy with this deer.
